We’ve been hard at work reimagining the Troon app—now officially Access by Troon—to give golfers a faster, more intuitive, and more rewarding experience when booking tee times. This update brings the mobile experience closer to the web while introducing powerful new features designed around how golfers actually play.
Here’s what’s new:
🔎 A More Familiar, Web-Aligned Booking Experience
We’ve updated the booking flow to match the simplicity and flexibility of our web experience.
Now you can choose how you want to search:
Search by tee time to quickly scan available times across nearby Access courses.
Search by course when you already have a destination in mind.
This gives you more control over your search—and lets you get to the best deals, faster.
⭐ Favorites Tab — Your Courses, One Tap Away
No more scrolling or searching every time you open the app.
With the all-new Favorites tab, you can:
Favorite your go-to courses
Instantly check tee time availability
Jump straight into booking at the places you play most
If you have a “home course,” or a handful of favorites you rotate between, this update is built for you.
🏆 Book with Points
Turn your play into even more play.
You can now book select tee times using your Access Points at participating courses. You’ll see eligible tee times right in the booking flow—just choose “Points” when you get to rate selection.
This is the first step toward a more rewarding Access experience, and we’re just getting started.
