Set at the base of Camelback Mountain, The Phoenician Golf Club offers a stunning showcase of Arizona’s Sonoran Desert. This Troon‑managed, par‑71 layout features pristine fairways, sculpted greens, and distinctive flared bunkers that blend seamlessly into the natural terrain, creating a golf experience that feels both refined and timeless. The back nine rises into the foothills, rewarding players with sweeping, panoramic views of Camelback Mountain and the Valley of the Sun. Reimagined in 2018 by renowned architect Phil Smith, the course reflects his more than 25 years of experience working alongside design legends Jack Nicklaus and Tom Weiskopf. Smith’s portfolio includes celebrated renovations at Troon North’s Monument and Pinnacle courses, Terravita Country Club, and Black Desert Resort—expertise that is evident in every thoughtfully crafted hole at The Phoenician.
